The Faculty of Arts and
Sciences is a scientific and
educational institution that
educates researchers and
scholars who have high
capacity of knowledge and
widen the vision in the
fields of science and arts.
Faculty offers undergraduate
and graduate programs, which
aim to follow the latest
developments, promote
critical thinking ability to
conduct research in the
fields of basic sciences,
social sciences and arts.
It offers different programs
in Archaeology and Art
History, Physics, General
Education, English
Literature and Humanities,
Chemistry, Mathematics,
Translation and
Interpretation, Music,
Psychology, History and
Turkish Language and
Literature. The Faculty also
offers elective and service
courses to other faculties
and schools. Therefore, the
Faculty of Arts and Sciences
plays a significant role in
the development of EMU.
Program Aims
In the fields of basic
sciences, social sciences
and arts, the Faculty aims
to train scholars who can
adapt themselves to the new
developments and have the
ability to reach
information.
The multi-dimensional
research activities help the
Faculty hold a significant
place in terms of the number
of publications produced,
and it also continues to
contribute to the universal
knowledge of science and
arts with its continually
upgraded infrastructure.
The Faculty improves its
staff with scholars coming
from different countries
around the world. Each year
hundreds of students receive
their diplomas after having
been exposed to an education
that reflects the
educational perspectives of
the highly qualified staff.

Faculty takes great pride in

success and also develop
research projects in
collaboration with
universities around the
